Intake & Wellness Assessment

What to Expect: Your First Massage Therapy Session

Your first session at RX Sports Massage begins with a comprehensive consultation to understand your medical history, lifestyle, and areas of discomfort. Your therapist will explain the massage process, discuss your pressure preferences, and guide you on how to position yourself comfortably on the massage table.

The session starts with gentle warm-up techniques to loosen muscles, followed by targeted therapy for specific areas of tension. Throughout the massage, you’re encouraged to communicate your comfort level to ensure the best experience. The environment is designed for ultimate relaxation, featuring calming music and dim lighting.

After your session, your therapist may provide feedback on muscle tension, recommend stretches or exercises, and answer any questions. You may feel relaxed, slightly sore, or re-energized afterward—hydration is encouraged to support recovery.

Your initial visit is an opportunity to build trust and create a personalized treatment plan that supports your wellness and performance goals.

2.

Establish Customized Plan

Personalized Massage Therapy Plans for Optimal Results

At RX Sports Massage, your therapy plan is customized to meet your unique needs, whether you seek pain relief, stress reduction, improved mobility, or deep relaxation.

Your journey begins with a comprehensive consultation, where your therapist evaluates your medical history, posture, range of motion, and muscle imbalances. Through hands-on assessment and guided movement, we identify tension points, knots, and mobility restrictions to create a targeted treatment plan.

Each session is tailored to address problem areas while promoting overall well-being. As you progress, we adjust your therapy plan based on feedback and results, ensuring continuous improvement. Your therapist may also provide stretching exercises, posture recommendations, and self-care tips for long-term benefits.

This holistic, client-centered approach enhances both physical recovery and mental well-being, aligning with your fitness and athletic performance goals to help you achieve lasting results.

3.

Improve Performance

Elevate Your Performance with Sports Massage Therapy

Sports massage therapy is essential for athletes and active individuals looking to recover faster, reduce muscle tension, and improve flexibility. Regular sessions boost circulation, delivering oxygen and nutrients to muscles while flushing out toxins, helping to minimize soreness and fatigue.

By enhancing joint mobility, posture, and muscle balance, massage therapy reduces the risk of injury and improves movement efficiency. It also promotes relaxation and mental focus, allowing for peak performance in training and competition.

Whether you’re aiming to optimize recovery, prevent injuries, or enhance overall well-being, massage therapy helps you stay strong, move freely, and perform at your best.

4.

Conquer Your Goals

Achieve Your Goals with Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is more than just recovery—it’s a powerful tool for both physical and mental well-being. Regular sessions improve circulation, relieve muscle tension, and accelerate recovery, making it an essential part of any fitness or performance-driven routine.

Beyond the physical benefits, massage reduces stress, enhances focus, and promotes deep relaxation, helping you maintain a clear and determined mindset. Whether you’re preparing for an event, recovering from an injury, or simply prioritizing wellness, massage therapy supports your journey by nurturing both body and mind.
